Expanding Your Canopy: Urban Forestry Institute

Our presenter this month is Larry Koss, a 40 year plus resident of Brevard County. Larry has worked in engineering and technical support for life science research and human exploration support at Kennedy Space Center for the past 20 years. Larry serves on the planning and zoning board for the city of Cocoa. Larry is also a member of the city of Cocoa tree board. Larry is an active member of the Turtle Coast Sierra Club, and serves as our Webmaster. 
Larry will present on the 2020 Urban Forestry Institute "Expanding Your Canopy".  This presentation discusses the planning and maintenance requirements for preserving trees in our urban environments. Larry recently attended a Florida Urban Forestry workshop. This presentation will be given via a webinar allowing for a safe and interactive conversation. We will provide a brief tutorial on how to use the GoToMeeting platform at the beginning of the webinar.
